Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 fans dealt great news ahead of Nintendo Switch launch
Ahead of the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch launch of the BoTW sequel, ZELDA Breath of the Wild 2 fans got some excellent release news.
Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 release date can not come soon enough, and some great news has been dealt ahead of the launch fans of the Nintendo Switch title. Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 is one of Nintendo Switch’s most anticipated games on the horizon, if not the most. At the conclusion of the groundbreaking E3 2019 Nintendo Direct the House of Mario revealed the surprise Zelda Breath of the Wild sequel.
There are few and far between details about the new Zelda game, with all the Nintendo Switch fans having to go on is a short-but fascinating-teaser.
A release date for the Wild 2’s Zelda Breath has not yet been announced, but it is rumored that this year’s sequel to the BoTW might arrive on the Switch.
And some great news has been delivered ahead of Zelda Breath of the Wild release date fans.
Like the original Wild Breath, Nintendo has enlisted Monolith Soft Xenoblade makers to help develop the new game of BoTW.
And it seems that additional resources will soon be on hand if needed to help ensure that Breath of the Wild 2 reaches its release date of 2020.
One of the highest-profile projects of Monolift Soft-the remake of the Xenoblade Chronicles-is launching early, according to a new leak.
A listing by Danish retailer Cool Shop has been penciling Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition as having a release date of May 29.
Nintendo has not yet confirmed this, but if true shows development on the remake of Xenoblade is in the final stages.
If that’s the case, it could potentially open up more Monolift Soft resources to help build BoTW 2 in the near future.
As the old saying goes, more hands make light work, so these additional resources will help ensure that Breath of the Wild 2 reaches a release date of 2020.
Whether or not Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 finishes launching this year remains to be seen.
But there’s reason to believe this year’s launch is on the cards.
With the PS5 and Xbox Series X set to be released this year, Nintendo will need to continue to offer players reasons for picking up a Switch.
And the arrival of this year’s Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 will definitely bolster the Switch’s 2020 release schedule that looks slightly bare at the moment.
A 2020 launch for BoTW 2 could be this year’s sales boost Nintendo needs to stay at the forefront of the attention of the gamers in the face of new competition.
The other explanation that the Wild 2’s Zelda Breath may be out sooner than gamers thought is Metroid Prime 4.
Metroid Prime 4 was announced back when it was on sale at E3 2017, during the first year of the Nintendo Switch.
The new Samus game was announced early on in development, which is usually not something that Nintendo does.
It was appropriate to restart the production on Metroid Prime 4 in the end as the project did not meet the required requirements, pushing the launch back further.
Surely Nintendo wouldn’t want to repeat this and you would think they’re on the horizon and not a long way off when Ninty games are announced now.
Fans will surely be hoping that more details will be announced shortly on Zelda Breath, with a Direct being the most likely place to update.
A Nintendo Direct from January 2020 is expected to take place next week, possibly broadcasting on Thursday, January 16.
