Microsoft has announced what we can expect from the Xbox at gamescom 2022. These will be presentations of games that were announced a while ago.
Gamescom 2022 is approaching. One of the companies that will appear in Cologne from August 24 to 28 will be Microsoft. The Redmond giant announced its presence more than a month ago, and today reminded of itself, and also revealed the details of the planned online presentations.

What games will we see at gamescom this year? Mostly those that have already been announced some time ago. We can certainly look forward to new game information such as:
- Microsoft Flight Simulator
- Gunfire Reborn
- Sea of Thieves
- Lies of P
- High On Life
- A Plague Tale: Requiem
- Minecraft Legends
- Planet of Lana
- Age of Empires IV
All games featured at the show are expected to debut on the market within the next twelve months.
It’s worth noting that neither Starfield nor Redfall are on the announced roster – both of which have been delayed until 2023 – but it doesn’t look like it’s premature to drop them from the show nonetheless. In addition, Microsoft is probably preparing a few surprises.
Moreover, there will be no shortage of AAA games from third-party studios cooperating with the company. One of them could be a new title from Kojima Productions. Work on it was announced in June 2022 during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, and last week Hideo Kojima posted a message on Twitter saying that he took over editing the new trailer. Lots of things point to this being a Death Stranding 2 trailer.
