The Stanley Parable and Watch Dogs is Totally Free Now on The Epic Games Store

Watch Dogs is free right now in the Epic Games Store, if you want to catch up before Legion.

Epic continues to give out free games every week in these tough times, and this is something to celebrate. From today until Thursday, at no cost, grab a middling open world game from Ubisoft and a postmodern Half-Life 2 pack.

Watch Dogs published in 2014 casts you as a bland dude in a leather trench coat, Aiden Pearce. Aiden does however compensate for his blandness with an impressive suite of hacker abilities. The strategy in Watch Dogs 2 has been changed so if you want to prepare for the upcoming release of Watch Dogs: Legion, this is a strong starting point.

You are Stanley on The Stanley Parable. This comedy game from 2013 began life as a very popular Half-Life 2 mod released in 2011. It is one of the earliest sims to walk and worth checking out. You can also take a look at Tom’s review of the follow-up to creator Davey Wreden, The Beginner’s Guide.

Now that Epic launched this two set, the duo of next week’s will be revealed. You will pick up Figment and Tormentor X Punisher from next thursday.
