Gollum seems to have lost his way again as Daedalic Entertainment has announced a delay in the release of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum. The title will appear a few months later than planned so that the developers can provide the best possible gameplay.
This is not the first delay. Before the developers named the exact date, it was set for 2021. Of course, nothing came of this, and it was only in May of this year that it became known that LotR: Gollum would hit the market on September 1, 2022.
We’ll be waiting longer for The Lord of the Rings: Gollum than expected. The delay is definitely due to the less than enthusiastic reception of the first gameplay demo. Mostly gamers complained about the effects, but apart from that, they did not like the appearance of the hero. Does this mean that Daedalic Entertainment wants to give Gollum the same facelift as they did with the new Sonic?
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will be released on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.
