Podius is the second moon of Danra in Narion system which can be scanned for rare minerals.
As you journey through the Starfield narrative, you’ll encounter a celestial body known as Podius. This moon orbits “Danra,” the second celestial body within the “Narion” system. In order to advance in the game, it’s essential to explore all the moon systems within Starfield. Furthermore, the same “Research Data” can be exchanged for Credits and Experience Points.
This can be achieved by conducting scans of the planet or moon for “fauna, flora, and resources.” Throughout your expedition, you’ll be accompanied by an Adoring Fan or one of your companions. Once you’ve successfully located all the items on the Survey Checklist, your survey will be marked as “Complete,” allowing you to proceed to other planets within the Starfield universe.
How to 100% Survey Podius in Starfield
In order to conduct a survey of Podius within the Starfield game, you must first visit Podius Moon and diligently complete its Survey Checklist by thoroughly scanning for “fauna, flora, and resources.” Additionally, you should be on the lookout for any unique “traits” that the moon may possess, although, unfortunately, Podius is exclusively endowed with resources.
Your effectiveness in this endeavor is contingent upon your Scanner skill, which dictates the appropriate scanning distance, ranging from 10 to 40 meters. Once you are within the prescribed range, you can commence scanning all the items featured on Podius Moon.
Upon activating your scanner, a Survey Checklist will materialize on the left side of your Heads-Up Display. Whenever you come across an item from the Survey Checklist that has not yet been scanned, it will be distinguished by a distinctive “Blue outline” on your Starfield HUD. This visual cue signifies that the item is a requirement for the survey and must be scanned.
Simply focus your scanner on the target item, and the scanning process will initiate. The Blue Outline on the HUD will transition to green once the scanning procedure is successfully completed. To optimize your efficiency, consider scanning Podius from your spaceship to identify resource-rich areas and land directly there. Additionally, you can monitor your Survey Checklist progress, with completed items marked within the list on the left side of your screen.
Podius Survey Checklist
As previously mentioned, every planet in Starfield features a Survey Checklist that necessitates your completion through the scanning of various items. Once you’ve successfully accomplished this task, your progress on the Starfield Survey Checklist will be denoted as “Surveyed.” Below, you’ll find the items that are part of the Podius Survey Checklist:
Name | Terrain | Description |
Helium-3 (He-3) | Mountain | “Helium-3 can be used for crafting, building outposts, and upgrading your gear. It is also used as a fuel to power Fueled Generators or Cargo Links.” |
Iron (Fe) | Mountain |
“Helium-3 can be used for crafting, building outposts, and upgrading your gear. It is also used as a fuel to power Fueled Generators or Cargo Links.” |
All Fauna on Podius
Regrettably, the hostile climate of Podius Moon renders it devoid of any fauna within its habitat.
All Flora on Podius
The Moon Podius lacks any flora within its habitat, primarily because of its inhospitable lunar climate.
How to find Resources on Podius in Starfield
On Podius Moon, you will find a few very easy resources to locate. The resources that you will find in Podius are listed below:
- Helium-3 (He-3)
- Iron (Fe)
From your Landing Spot in Podius, you need to head east, where you will find Iron (Fe) in the distance. There will be a small rock on the ship’s right side where you will find this resource.
It would be best to head towards a building with a volcanic fissure and gas gushing. Scanning this gas will give you the Helium-3 (He-3). Doing so, you will complete 100 Survey in Podius in Starfield, and the list will be marked as “Surveyed”.
How to discover Podius Traits
You can use your onboard Snanner to find Planet Traits, but unfortunately, you will not find any inside Podius Moon. Finding these, however, is required to complete your survey progress.
