Gryphus is a moon of Danra located in the Narion System which can surveyed to get rare resources.
Gryphus is the initial moon of the “Danra” celestial body, situated within the “Narion” system. To attain full 100% progress on your Survey Checklist in Starfield, it is imperative to explore Gryphus Moon. This achievement is realized by conducting scans of the planet or moon, focusing on “fauna, flora, and resources.”
In this guide, I will lead you through the process of achieving a comprehensive 100% survey of Gryphus moon in the Starfield universe.
How to 100% Survey Gryphus in Starfield
Much like any other celestial body in the Starfield universe, Gryphus Moon is equipped with a Survey Checklist that mandates completion through the scanning of “fauna, flora, and resources.” Additionally, it’s advisable to be on the lookout for any distinctive “traits” that Gryphus may possess, although, unfortunately, the moon is primarily endowed with resources.
Once you activate your scanner, embark on an exploratory journey through Gryphus’s rugged mountainous terrain. Whenever you encounter an item from the Survey Checklist that remains unscanned, it will be distinctly outlined in a “Blue outline” on your Starfield Heads-Up Display (HUD).
Simply aim your scanner at the target item, initiating the scanning process. The Blue Outline within the HUD will transition to green once the scanning procedure is successfully completed. Concurrently, you can monitor your Survey Checklist progress, with completed items indicated on the list located to the left of your screen.
Gryphus Survey Checklist
As previously mentioned, every celestial body within the Starfield universe comes equipped with a Survey Checklist, requiring your diligent completion through the scanning of various items. Once this task is accomplished, your Survey Checklist progress will transition to the status of “Surveyed.” Below, you’ll find a listing of the items featured in the Gryphus Survey Checklist:
Name | Terrain | Description |
Aluminum (Al) | Volcanic Rocks | “Aluminium is a precious metal used to craft and upgrade a wide variety of weapons and gear in Starfield. It is also used in the Outpost Construction.” |
Helium-3 (He-3) | Volcanic Rocks | “Helium-3 can be used for crafting, building outposts, and upgrading your gear. It is also used as a fuel to power Fueled Generators or Cargo Links.” |
Neodymium (Nd) | Volcanic Rocks | “Neodymium is a rare resource found in Starfield that can be used in several crafting recipes, including weapons mods, equipment, and outposts.” |
Europium (Be) | Volcanic Rocks |
“Europium is an essential ingredient in Overclocked or Recon Scope Weapon Mods recipe as well as other crafting recipes.” |
All Flora and Fauna on Gryphus
Within the Starfield universe, Gryphus Moon lacks any flora and fauna within its habitat, primarily due to the moon’s harsh and inhospitable climate.
How to Find Resources on Gryphus in Starfield
On Gryphus Moon, you’ll come across a few readily accessible resources. The resources available on Gryphus are detailed below:
- Aluminum (Al)
- Helium-3 (He-3)
- Neodymium (Nd)
- Europium (Eu)
Starting from your designated Landing Spot on Gryphus, head toward the Green Lake directly in front of you. Scanning this lake will yield Helium-3 (He-3). On the right side of the lake, you’ll discover Neodymium (Nd) atop a small rock.
From there, embark on a journey towards the distant Unknown Spot. Along your path, you’ll encounter Aluminum (Al) situated on a small boulder. On Starfield Gryphus, you’ll come across a “Cave” when you reach the Unknown Spot. In proximity to the cave entrance, you’ll locate Europium (Eu). By following this route, you will successfully achieve a comprehensive 100% Survey of Gryphus within the Starfield universe.
All Biomes on Gryphus in Starfield
The moons in Starfield do not feature any Biomes. Therefore, you will not find any living Biomes inside. You can visit other planet systems to find biomes such as “Mountains and Volcanos.”
How to discover Gryphus Traits
You can use your onboard Snanner to find Planet Traits, but unfortunately, you will not find any inside Gryphus Moon.
