Starfield Freight Fright Walkthrough

“Freight Fright” is an optional side mission available in the expansive universe of Starfield. To embark on this quest, make your way to the bustling Central Hub located in the heart of Cydonia. This mission presents a relatively straightforward challenge, tasking you with assisting a distressed vendor in uncovering the reasons behind the delay in their cargo delivery.

How to unlock the Freight Fright mission

You need to speak with Denis Avern in Cydonia to unlock the Freight Fright mission in Starfield. Cydonia is located on Mars and Denis Avern is a vendor who is basically the equivalent of the Jemison Mercantile shop in New Atlantis

How to complete Freight Fright in Starfield

Upon conversing with Denis, opt for the dialogue option: “Managing this entire shop by yourself must be truly exhausting.”

Denis will begin sharing his struggles in running the shop and eventually request your assistance in investigating the cause of his delayed shipment.

This initiates the “Freight Fright” side mission within the Starfield universe. Now, you’ll need to access your Starmap and set a course for an intriguingly named location: “the Ship.”

Upon reaching the Ship, you’ll quickly uncover that the shipment delay is attributed to the Heat Leeches, who have not only incapacitated the crew but have also seized control of the vessel.

Power up your weapons and eliminate these Leeches. Rest assured, dealing with the Heat Leeches should prove to be a relatively straightforward task, with approximately three Leeches per room.

Dispose of the Leeches and locate the pristine white cargo containers. Exercise caution, as a Heat Leech might catch you off guard while you’re inspecting the cargo.

Return to Denis

Once the Leeches are dealt with and you’ve inspected the cargo, report back to Denis where he’ll show his gratitude and provide you with another job known as Refurbished Goods in Starfield.
