Roblox shutting down: When is Roblox shutting down in 2020? Is Roblox shutting down?
ROBLOX shutting down fears among fans has been ignited. So, is shutting down Roblox? And if so when will Roblox shut down in the year 2020?
Roblox fans were left wondering if Roblox would be shutting down by 2020. Roblox has an active user base of 100 million monthly players, with over one billion hours of participation reported in the game last year. But despite these huge numbers fears that Roblox could be the subject of a surprise shutdown in 2020 have been sparked.
The rumors started last year when it was announced that on March 22 2020 Roblox would be shut down.
As The I revealed in a post, fans were left wondering if after reading an unsettling message Roblox was getting shut down.
It said: “The Roblox servers will be turned off on March 22, 2020 because of the population.
“It’s been a fun time but now we’re making less money and we can’t hold the servers.
“We don’t have the money to keep them up.”
Previously, fans overwhelmed the official Roblox Twitter account asking whether or not those surprise claims were true.
But you can rest assured that there is no need to be concerned, because Roblox does not go anywhere.
The Roblox shutdown claims are false and all reportedly emerged from React2424, the prank website.

David ‘ Builderman ‘ Baszucki explored what Roblox accomplished in 2019, and what the future holds, in a recent online article on the Roblox website.
And the Roblox creators are expecting an even better 2020 after a 2019 where some impressive landmarks were struck.
Builderman’ said:’ Transformative have been the past twelve months.
“We began 2019 with a series of audacious targets, but even our greatest ambitions have been surpassed by the efforts and successes of our teams at Roblox HQ and the wider Roblox Group.
“We not only reached record numbers of more than a billion hours of interaction each month, but we also surpassed the 100 million active monthly users mark.
“I am thankful for your continued love and loyalty to each and every one of our fans around the world,” they added: “My hope for the future is fueled by the commitment of our player community, the imagination of our developer community and the enthusiasm of the great people who work at Roblox.
“I give my sincere thanks from the bottom of my heart for making 2019 one of the best and most rewarding years we’ve had at Roblox to date.
“I have the feeling that 2020 will be even bigger and better than ever.”
