PS Plus’s August Extras Announced

PS Plus's August Extras Announced

12 more games are being added to the library…

After 3 games with PS Plus Essential in August, 12 games to be added to the game library for PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Deluxe subscribers have been announced.

It has already been announced that Yakuza Zero, Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 will follow Yakuza: Like a Dragon, which was released with PS Plus Essential this month. But among the other games added to the list, there are names that can attract at least as much attention.

Here is the full list of 12 games:

  • Bugsnax (PS4, PS5)
  • Dead by Daylight (PS4, PS5)
  • Ghost Recon: Wildlands (PS4)
  • Metro Exodus (PS4, PS5)
  • Monopoly Madness (PS4)
  • Monopoly Plus (PS4)
  • Trials of Mana (PS4)
  • UNO (PS4)
  • Wheel of Fortune (PS4)
  • Yakuza 0 (PS4)
  • Yakuza Kiwami (PS4)
  • Yakuza Kiwami 2 (PS4)

I don’t feel the need to mention it again, as I have already praised the Yakuza series at every opportunity. If you haven’t played it yet (what a shame!), dive into it with Yakuza 0 , then after you say Yakuza Kiwami 1-2 , it will flow like water. With Yakuza 6 you will say goodbye to Kiryu, and then with Yakuza: Like a Dragon you will say hello to our new hero, Ichiban Kasuga, I have no doubt 🙂

One of the games on the list , Bugsnax was given free to PS5 subscribers in the month it was released, now it is given for free for both consoles. There is a similar situation for Dead by Daylight , it was one of the games that were given with PS Plus before, now it is on the list once again.

I leave the UNO, Wheel of Fortune and Monopoly games aside, they’re just a little bit of snacks next to the rest of the list. But for Ghost Recon lovers , it’s good news that Ghost Recon: Wildlands is included in the list. It has already been added to Game Pass this month, so we can say that Ubisoft continues on its way by making the same games free on both sides.

Trials of Mana is also a good choice for JRYO lovers , and it can be a good start for those who have not been involved in the Trials series until now.

And finally, we need to mention Metro Exodus . For me, Metro Exodus, which is the last game of the series for now, also has a special place; I have already explained enough in the review and in the article “Why I Loved It So Much” that I wrote later. While there is such an opportunity, you should definitely give it a chance. By the way, the first version of the game was already good enough, but the PS5 version also deserves a chance, let me tell you.

As you can see, Sony filled this month with solid games as well. We expect similar performances in the coming months. Game Pass – PS Plus competition seems to have created a very good picture for us game lovers.
