Porting Sony games to PC may be possible in the future

It is possible that in the future PC gamers will have to create PSN accounts in order to play Sony games on PC. At least, this may be hinted at by the FAQ on the company’s website.

The video game chronicle drew attention to an interesting point in the FAQ section on the official PlayStation website. This may indicate that gamers will be able to play on PC through a PlayStation Network account in the future.

controversial issue

The possible need for a PlayStation Network account may be indicated by one of the questions in the FAQ.

Q: Can I play PlayStation Studios games on PC with a PSN account?

Answer: No, you can’t play our games on PC with a PSN account at this time.”

When analyzing the above, focus on the phrase “at the present time.” This situation leaves Sony considerable room for maneuver.

Other problems

It also pairs well with other questions found on the website. You also cannot currently buy a single copy of the game to play on PC and console, and (also currently) there is no way to transfer game save data. However, there is no clear statement that such capabilities will never be introduced.

Looking at Sony’s increasingly bold expansion, we can assume that in the future we will still be able to play PlayStation Studios games on PC with a PSN account.
