Apparently, even non-player characters are tired of the game.
Rockstar has officially ended development and active support of Red Dead Online in order to focus the company’s resources on Grand Theft Auto VI. The players held a funeral and said goodbye to the game. But something happened that even the bravest of them did not expect. All NPCs have disappeared
from Red Dead Online . Carts without drivers roll through the streets, empty shops sparkle with shop windows, the dust of the pavements does not fluff boots, shoes and shoes. Animals and birds disappeared, nature fell silent (well, formally).
What happened? No one knows. A week ago, players reported problems with downloads in the game, now people and animals are gone.
There is a way to get the animals back – to do this, you need to run multiplayer mode with ports closed through the firewall in an impromptu single session. Then animals and people will return, but the opportunity to play with real people will be lost. Hard choice.
You need to close ports 6672, 61455, 61457, 61456, 61458 – it’s best to create a new rule in Windows Defender or its equivalent.
At a minimum, merchants will return, and players will be able to complete tasks – the fix does not affect sending data to the Rockstar servers. Departures fix will not help, but there are a lot of them.
