Nightingale’s Early Access Date Postponed to 2023

Nightingale's Early Access Date Postponed to 2023

New game from former BioWare employees

Founded in 2018 by a group of BioWare employees, including BioWare’s former general manager Aaryn Flynn, Inflexion Games’ survival game Nightingale will enter early access in 2023, not this year.

In a statement shared on Twitter, the studio announced the postponement, saying that they want to make significant changes to the game and polish the content and gameplay, and that they will switch the game engine to Unreal Engine 5 during this delay.

“We have made the decision to delay Nightingale early access to the first half of 2023. We will let you know at a later time for the exact date.

There were two considerations that contributed to this delay. The first is to upgrade the game to Unreal Engine 5. After examining the potential offered by UE5, we decided to do the transition now instead of waiting until after the game’s release.

Secondly, as Inflexion Games, we want Nightendal’s realm universe to offer players the best possible experience. We need extra time to achieve this,” he said in the statement.

The game’s Steam page is here .
