TaleWorlds Entertainment has announced that the console version of its worldwide acclaimed game Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord will debut at Gamescom 2022, the world’s largest gaming fair.
Bannerlord is the sequel to Mount & Blade: Warband, one of the most successful RPGs of our time. Mount & Blade has received worldwide attention and appreciation for its deep gameplay that combines action, RPG and strategy in its open world; After all, every player can make their own path in the game’s imaginary continent, Calradia.
Despite being a sequel to Warband, Bannerlord tells the story of the continent we know from Warband 200 years ago. The Calradian Empire is on the verge of collapse and the kingdoms are at war to control the remnants of the ancient empire that once dominated the entire continent. On the other hand, other kingdoms are trying to take advantage of this chaos to gain power in Calradia.
Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord has received a lot of attention from both players and the media since it went into Early Access in March 2020. Since then, it’s become an increasingly bigger and more ambitious game, receiving dozens of content updates. With the full release approaching, the long-awaited console version of Bannerlord will debut at Gamescom at the end of August.
While the members of the press participating in the event will experience the console demo in the B2B area, the same demo will also meet with the public at the TaleWorlds booth open to visitors. To promote the console version of the game, Taleworlds will be at Gamescom with its largest attendance ever.
