Apparently, Hideo Kojima loves to tease fans. The developer shared a photo of his video editing software, which immediately sparked rumors that he was preparing something for the upcoming gamescom.
Hideo Kojima, former vice president of Konami and creator of brands such as Metal Gear Solid, recently shared images of video editing software. Probably, for a simple viewer, this would not be unusual, but fans of the Japanese creator, who constantly follow his social networks, see important clues in these photos.
cryptic Twitter post was accompanied by a specific comment. He appears to be working on a possible trailer or presentation that he could present to the public at the upcoming gamescom, which will take place in Cologne from August 24-28 this year. At least that’s what fans of the developer hope for. In turn, other speculation is that Kojima may be taking part in the yet-to-be-announced PlayStation Showcase this year, and it is for this event that he is preparing some mysterious material.
Whether the creator is planning a showcase for gamescom, PlayStation Showcase or whatever, we know that his Kojima Productions studio is currently working on at least two different games. This was confirmed late last year in an interview with Famitsu.
While it is reported which specific projects were involved, gamers, based on the statements of Death Stranding star Norman Reedus, are betting that it will be about the second part of the popular adventure game. Or a supposed yet unconfirmed Xbox game called Overdose.
So we have no choice but to be patient and wait for more specific information from Hideo Kojima himself.
