Starfield: How to Perform One Giant Leap

One Giant Leap is the last quest of the storyline, after completing it you will end the current game and start New Game Plus. All your efforts, the artifacts you collected and the deaths of your allies brought you here. In the previous mission you received the last artifact, and now you can go through Armillaria. Now you can go on a new journey, but do not forget to complete all current missions and quests in this universe. Below we will describe what you can do in the old universe, now let’s get started with the mission.

Build an armillary on your ship

The first part of your mission will be to finally complete Armillaria. Fortunately, this is not difficult; here’s what you need to do:

  • Go to your spaceship.
  • Go to the panel with Armillaria.
  • Interact with it to place the artifact there.
  • Click the “Add Artifacts” button to add the missing elements and complete the armillary.

If you did everything correctly, you will receive a message from the game with the following content:

“ You’ I completed Armillaria. Once you enable your Grav Drive, you will be taken to Unity. Remove Armillaria from your ship if you need to gravity jump somewhere else.

So, if you have unfinished tasks, we recommend that you complete them before moving on to Unity. One of those things could be the side quest “Talk to Friends Before You Go,” and we recommend you complete it before starting a new journey.

Talk to your friends before you go

It’s worth noting that as soon as you exit Unity, everything starts all over again. If you want to do multiple faction missions to complete a quest line, this is the best time to do it because once you log into Unity you will have to start all over again. The same goes for other side quests and characters. If you need to complete any quests or want to see someone before the last gravity jump in this universe, don’t delay. Try to accumulate as high a level and more skills as possible, because this is the only thing that will remain with you in the new world.

Make a Grav Jump to Unity

Well, when you’re ready to take the plunge, board your ship and use Grav Jump. It doesn’t matter in which direction you do it, as long as the armillary systems work correctly.

If you do everything correctly, you will see a cutscene of your ship flying faster and faster into the glowing tunnel until the entire screen turns white. The next thing you see is a large sphere in the middle of space and a person standing in front of it. As you get closer, you realize that it is you, your character. Actually it’s not, it’s just a twin from an alternate universe. You can start a dialogue with him, which will lead you to two options:

  • Login to Unity.
  • Come back.

If you choose the first option, you will hear philosophical thoughts about Unity, and also find out what happened to Hunter and Constellation. Eventually, upon entering the sphere, you will see another cutscene followed by darkness. This will complete the quest and main story of the game, and you can start New Game Plus.

Now you know how to complete One Giant Leap in Starfield , you should not have any difficulties during this quest.
