How to remove mods from weapons in Starfield
Removing weapon mods in Starfield is a straightforward process. You’ll need to locate a nearby weapon workbench, which can typically be found at either an Outpost or The Lodge on New Atlantis. Similar to adding a mod, the removal process involves scrolling through and selecting the desired weapon from the workbench’s inventory list.
Once you’ve selected the weapon, proceed to the mod you wish to remove or replace. To remove the mod, simply choose the “No Mod” option. If you prefer to replace it, pick a replacement mod of your choice.
It’s crucial to note that if you decide to remove a mod, you’ll need to exercise caution because using the removed mod again requires crafting it and expending resources. Therefore, think carefully before removing a mod, as you won’t receive a refund of the resources and may end up squandering valuable materials.
