Hackers cracked Battle.net security because of resentment against Blizzard

Warcraft 3 Reforged and StarCraft Remastered have already been hacked, Diablo is next in line.

There are few games on Battle.net. Even fewer of them are hacked – a couple of times helped by the negligence of the developers. And until now, the service was considered an invulnerable stronghold of licensed games.

At the same time, Blizzard is in serious trouble. Hundreds of employees have been fired or quit, new releases are controversial, and the publisher is arguing with the fan community. Modders are particularly affected – in some cases, Blizzard even threatens them with legal action .

The Blizzless hacker team took it upon themselves to teach the publisher a lesson by breaking the security of the service . We started with the simplest games: Warcraft 3 Reforged and StarCraft Remastered. Full online modes are not available, but single player and local multiplayer work.

It is not known if hackers will be able to break into Activision projects, including Call of Duty, but this is the most likely target in the future. Now they promise to do Diablo 2.
