EVO 2020 Lineup Disclosed

EVO President Joey Cuellar and his special guest Mike Ross announced the line-up for EVO 2020 tonight during the EVO 2020 Games Reveal Show. Next year, the world’s largest fighting game tournament is aiming to feature eight franchises with a few prominent games not making the final cut and a major surprise inclusion. 

The eight games that were selected for this year are as follows:

  • Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
  • Tekken 7
  • Street Fighter V: Champion Edition
  • Dragon Ball FighterZ
  • Samurai Showdown
  • Granblue Fantasy: Versus
  • Soul Calibur 6
  • UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH Exe:Late[cl-r]


Although Granblue Fantasy, BlazBlue Cross Tag Fight and Mortal Kombat 11 are not returning: versus is making its first appearance. Additionally, an 8-man invitation-only event will be held to celebrate Marvel Vs. Capcom 2’s 20th anniversary–Marvel Vs. Capcom 2: Champions Tournament. EVO takes place in Las Vegas, Nevada July 31 – August 2nd.
