Dragon Ball FighterZ Coming to Current-Gen Consoles with Rollback Netcode

Dragon Ball FighterZ is a dream fighting game for fans of the Dragon Ball franchise and fighting game fans who enjoy 3v3 combat. No new characters have been released for the game as it completed its DLC roadmap, but that hasn’t stopped publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment and developer Arc System Works from surprising fans with something new. Dragon Ball FighterZ will now arrive on current-gen consoles at an unspecified time and will receive a netcode rollback on PC and current-gen consoles.

Netcode rollback is a system that can help fighting games deal with online lag and therefore improve online matches. In theory, this should make matches snappy and responsive, regardless of the strength of your opponent’s link. For games that have already implemented netcode rollback, this is usually the correct solution.

Dragon Ball Fighter Z is available on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
