A NEW DayZ update has been released today, and developers Bohemia Interactive have revealed all the big changes made on PS4 and Xbox One.

After a period of server downtime and maintenance DayZ update 1.07 is now available for download on PS4 and Xbox One. This did not take long, but ended with a new patch that needs to be activated on consoles. DayZ update 1.07 is the latest version of Bohemia Interactive, the developers of the game, with additional tests on PCs.

There are definitely plenty of bug fixes that are described in PS4 and Xbox One gamers ‘ official patch notes to check out. Nevertheless, the fix today also includes new contents which you can try as soon as the new DayZ build has been installed.

It involves starting the latest carbine repeater pistol fitted with 357 rouns. The DayZ fans will also find 12 g Rubber Slugs being added which are appropriate for different shotguns.

Bohemia also revealed that the DayZ update today would adjust the world, with new locations on the consoles.

“Hello Survivors, the latest 1.07 update offers some essential solutions to the game, as well as exciting new features,” confirms the development team’s message.

“We’re adding the Repeater Carbine that uses the 12GRC slugs that any of your favorite screwdrivers may use.

“This new update focuses also on key improvements from small tweaks of gameplay to stock solutions, which have affected player experience since the 1.06 Update was released.

  • Tweaked: The base building build action won’t show up at all when it is being blocked (previously allowed to execute without result)
  • Tweaked: Adjusted the logic behind obstacle checks when building base building parts
