Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 3 New Ghost Skin

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 3 New Ghost Skin. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s Season 3 content rolls out today, and with it brings back a more classic skin for fan favorite operator, Ghost.

Now that Call of Duty Season 3: Modern Warfare is here, lots of new content is coming to the game. There are also reports that introducing fan favorite modes back to the series may be the new season, including prop hunt which was first introduced in Black Ops 3.

The Modern Warfare season 3 patch rolled out yesterday for all teams, and it was quite a patch for teams to download. Some of the more enticing bits of cosmetic material that came along with the patch was a brand new skin that gives a more traditional look to fan favorite operator Ghost.

In the course of this new season, the season 3 launch trailer announced several new maps and other modes and improvements coming to the game. The trailer showed brand new operators such as Alex, who played a prominent role in the campaign of Modern Warfare. Additionally new multiplayer weapons and maps were shown. Nonetheless, Activision’s press photos revealed an intriguing new look for Simon “Ghost” Riley that has intrigued some fans.

The skin in question looks to take Ghost back to a more classic appearance from the games the character originated from. While Ghost was confirmed to return during season 2, some fans were somewhat disappointed with the updated look Infinity Ward gave him in the remake. However, this new skin seems to harken back to his original appearance in Modern Warfare 2 complete with his trademark sunglasses and a flatter skull mask.

Unfortunately, this skin doesn’t appear to be in the game yet, because it can only be seen in the press photos released by Activision. Although the 3 patch notes for the season have been issued to the general public, no clear mention of this skin exists yet. The skin will certainly be published sooner or later, but at the moment it’s uncertain when that is exactly.

Before then, both Modern Warfare and the free battle royale Warzone mode launched last month will provide players with plenty of new content to dive into. The official start date for Season 3 began yesterday, and players are no doubt already moving towards the plethora of unlocks that came along with the update. Players will look forward to unlocking Alex by simply buying the Season 3 Battle Pass before the new Ghost skin is officially released.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Season 3 begins tomorrow, April 8.
