Borderlands 3 Broken Hearts Day update: February patch notes, in-game event rewards, more
BORDERLANDS 3 developer 2K gets ready to release the February update, which includes a brand new Valentine’s themed event.
The three players at Borderlands count on Valentine Day to start the in-game celebration.
Free to all players, Valentine’s Broken Hearts Day releases next February 13, along with the next major update.
While the full patch notes have yet been announced, the Broken Hearts Day celebration and awards were given to fans.
“In the Borderlands the Broken Hearts is coming fast, and Maurice, resident of Sanctuary III Saurian, hopes that he will support his ongoing research on the conditions of the human being by concentrating his attention on the ritual of our people,” 2 K reveals.
“With the episode 5 of the Borderlands series, you’ll be proud to have completed Maurice’s tasks, and don’t worry, there’s no need to do anything wrong. Simply shoot down the floating heart, spinning around the galaxy’s enemies while you’re doing your usual Vault Hunter company.
The ECHOcardiogram, ECHO mask, Cosmic Romance Gun Trinket, Vault Hunter, Heartbreaker and Jakobs Sniper Legendary Invitation are among the prizes.
“Maurice will calculate how many hearts you lost, and mail the following awards for events when you hit each of those total:” If the enemies fall into the world with a fiery explosion, for instance, the heart will fall to the ground with the enemy’s loot or turn momentarily into allies.

• 50 – “Terminal Polyaimorous” Legendary Maliwan SMG

The change is scheduled to take place live on February 13 at 15:00, so UK fans may be able to sail at 11:00 GMT.
The event lasts a whole week and therefore all the prizes given are time to be released.
Fans can even opt out of the main menu if they do not enter an online game in which Broken Hearts Day has been allowed.
The upgrade in February also increasing the first level cap from level 50 to 53.
“This will allow you to improve your existing buildings or learn additional skills by adding 3 additional skill points to your skills,” 2 K explained.
