According to new reports from Jeff Grubb, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is not living up to expectations in terms of gameplay, and this is the reason why the release of the game is being postponed.
Disturbing rumors have surfaced online that Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora’s gameplay leaves much to be desired.
The source of the reports is journalist Jeff Grubb.
According to his informants, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora looks pretty, but the developers have big problems with the gameplay.
Unsurprisingly, Ubisoft recently made the decision to significantly delay the release of the game. Initially, the release was supposed to take place this year, but the publisher pushed it to the 2023/24 financial year, the period from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024.
Ubisoft initially wanted to capitalize on the free marketing provided by the release of the second part of the James Cameron film saga, scheduled for December 16, 2022. The fact that the publisher has opted out of this suggests that the game’s problems are not to be trifled with.
If so, then the decision to delay the debut of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora for a long time is the right one, since the company is unlikely to want to repeat the disappointing Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. It’s better to give developers more time to bring the project to the right level than to release the game ahead of schedule, and then spend years trying to save it.
